With the emerging trend of smart devices including smartphones and tablets, Microsoft ultimately made remote access available to Android devices in the form of an app. The Microsoft Remote Desktop application for Android was pretty much expected by tech enthusiasts. It was predicted that the market for mobile will be bigger than the computer platform and as of 2019, statcounter.com revealed that Mobile now has 49.22% of the market compared to 46.93% of the computer market. With this, the mobile platform has become more advanced and more powerful. And we’re at the age where phones can do more than your average computer.
