Generally, a bookmark is a thin card used to track a reader’s progress when reading a book.  But what is a bookmark in Chrome? Well, it serves the same purpose 一 to find a place 一 on the web. A bookmark in Chrome is a shortcut to a previously viewed web page allowing you to view it on the go without having to search for it again on the web.  When a page is bookmarked, Chrome stores the URL, title, and other contents of the page and displays it when you search for similar terms in the Omnibar. For example, if you bookmark this page and then search for “how to create” in the search bar, Google will show you this bookmarked page. 

What should you bookmark?

You can bookmark your favorite and most frequently visited websites and web pages. How to edit a bookmark in Chrome?

How to delete a bookmark in Chrome?

To delete a Chrome bookmark, Step 1: Open the Chrome app on your Android device Step 2: Tap the ⠇button on the top right corner Step 3: Tap ★ Bookmarks  Step 4: Open the mobile bookmarks folder Step 5: Tap the ⠇button and simply tap delete The bookmark will no longer be there in the folder and will be deleted. How to create a bookmark folder in Chrome?

To create a bookmark folder in Chrome on Android,  Step 1: Open the Chrome app on your Android device Step 2: Tap the ⠇button on the top right corner Step 3: Tap ★ Bookmarks  Step 4: Locate the bookmark you want to add to a new folder and tap the ⠇button Step 5: Tap Move to… Step 6: Tap + New folder… Step 7: Add a folder title and tap ✓ The newly created folder will appear on the top in mobile bookmarks Here’s a short clip to help you create a bookmark folder in Chrome.

How to rearrange bookmarks in Chrome?

To move a bookmark up or down,  Step 1: Open the Chrome app on your Android device Step 2: Tap the ⠇button on the top right corner Step 3: Tap ★ Bookmarks  Step 4: Tap the ⠇button Step 5: Tap Move up or Move down as you want to rearrange the bookmark Alternatively, you can also move the bookmark as follows.
